The Celtic harp is also called an Irish harp, a lever harp, or a folk harp. It's different from the classical pedal harp seen in orchestras, but as you can see from the photo below, a Celtic harp is a beautiful instrument that will add a lovely ambiance to your special event .
Someone who plays the Celtic, Irish or Folk harp is usually referred to as a Harper but since that term is not widely known, I've also used the more widely understood term harpist on this site.
