About me
My name is Tristen Hall, I live in Hudson in Southern New Hampshire.
I have always love Irish music so when the opportunity to learn the Celtic harp presented itself about 14 years ago, I couldn’t resist. I fell in love with the music of the Celtic harp and loved learning to create this beautiful music myself.
I have always enjoyed playing the harp only for myself, but more and more friends were encouraging me to play for their special events. So several weddings here some St Patrick’s day events there add a few Wine & Cheese parties, Library presentations and numerous Renaissance faire type events later, I realized that I was playing for others more than I ever expected. I really enjoyed bringing the magic of harp to create a warm and welcoming touch to my dearest friend’s special events.
When friends of friends started hiring me for their weddings and events I started to look at the opportunities that were presented to me and I decided to create this website so that people could learn about me and decide if I could offer the ambiance and magical Celtic harp music that they were looking for to set the tone for their special event.
So with the encouragement of many dear friends, I decided to create this web site.
My goal is to provide a unique musical experience, so I do not try to be all things to all people, Celtic music is my passion so I have a much larger repertoire of Irish, Scottish and Welsh music but I also have Renaissance/Medieval, some Classical and a little popular music, as well in my repertoire. If you have your heart set on the intricate classical or pop repertoire that pedal harp is perfect for, then a pedal harpist would be a better choice for you.
I have lived in southern NH for 35 years, and look forward to bringing the beautiful music of the Celtic harp to events in southern NH and northern MA.
